A RAINY AFTERNOON

        Usually in Texas on a hot day in July we don't see just a ton of rain, but as luck would have it, on the day of this long awaited photo shoot,  it starts to rain.  Luckily under the oak tree we managed to stay a little dry.  The Schmitz family are troopers.  The kiddos were a little wet, but happy as pie and the shoot turned out great!!

I am so glad I got to take these pictures because now I get to share them with you.  This sweet baby boy is the third son of a dear friend.  Not only is he precious but he has the coolest name ( names ).  Sonny was born on June 22 around noon and weighed in at 6lbs 9oz and was 19'' long.  Kristy says she doesn't  want to speak to soon , but he is the best baby.  Although, he was awake for the entire shoot, to my delight he was happy to sit awkwardly  in a basket with lights shining on him for quite a long time & then lay on the hard floor.  The only sleeping pic I got is one where it just looks like he is sleeping, I got lucky.  Congrats Eidson family , you have a handsome bunch of boys!

 Can I just say I love my friends. It is such a blessing to spend time taking pictures of those you care about! I must also be honest....it in nerve racking!!! I am always so much more nervous when it is my friends!!!   I hope I don't show it, but the pressure is on. Partly because you are trusting me and partly because you will be honest with me about the turn out.  I always want my clients to be elated when they get there cd and if not , I need to here about it!!!  Hope you all loves these as much as I do.

Today we celebrate Cinco.  Six years ago today we welcomed our first baby boy into the world.  He weighed in at 9lbs 8ozs and we would come to find out that his personality and love for life would be just as large.  Everyday he make me proud to be his mom.  He is an eternal optimist and his cup is never half empty or even half full, it is always overflowing.  How thankful  I was to have him placed in my arms when he was born and again so thankful when he wrapped his arms around me this morning. Thank you God for this wonderful gift, I know he is precious in your sight.
